Martin Cryogenic strings are produced to the same exacting specifications as as the rest of the Martin Strings product line. Then, an additional manufacturing step exposes the strings to extremely low temperatures (-300 degrees), a process used in high-tech applications where consistent hardness of metal is required. This gives the strings a longer life with more consistent tonal qualities. String sizes in this light gauge set include .012, .016, .025, .032, .042 and .054.
